I like the idea, and I think if properly executed it could look good - I just don't think you're quite there yet.
.. this is just my own personal opinion but I think it hurts that there isn't any white or red on the front of the car. Maybe... stripes on the hood, curving down to the sides? maybe? i dunno I don't design custom cars. Maybe call Chip Foose.
I say good for you for putting in the effort, no one else has one like yours...
Looks like a Panda with a bloody nose. To each his own. Hell i drive a Suzuka and most people think its gay, but i love it. its cool that you did the work.
I can't wait for when it does have wheels etc and everyone then says "hey that looks pretty good". I suppose if it had a Spoon top and J's aero kit everyone would be Go figure!
good quality paint. I give you props for doing what you want to do. Its your car and hey at least you get a paint shop to use all you want and make more ideas.

no, my primary inspiration was honda F1 cars (black/red/white) I would of made the primary color red (where the white is), but when I drew the car out, it didnt look the way I wanted it to. The red is accented all over the car in the lights/shift boot/interior/tail lights. The red also provides a better transition from the dark-light. Cop car inspiration- didnt even cross my mind, but I can def see how someone would think that. Here are some old pics of the car, pre-summer 2007
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the paint scheme. On a positive note, I like the location of these photos. Were they taken at Falls Lake? Looks just like where I took this photo:
Like NeverOnlineS2k said, carry the white towards the front, because stopping at the door at that height gives it a real incompleted look. Props on doing your own work
