Nice video. The S is scary to do that in. Whenever I try I can't help letting off the gas and the rear just snaps back.

To each his own. You don't have to resort to name calling...what did I ever say to you?

Do you think you are perfect? You probably think I"m a "moron" for drifting but do you drive under the speed limits at all times?

Making bold statements about what is drifting or what is not is lame without backing up more and elaborating to me what you would think drifting is.

I don't know what implications you are trying to make by telling me I'm fishtailing it when I know I'm drifting it.

If you don't like what you saw, or it insulted you because your definations of drifting is not what was show here, then so be it. Calling me names is weak. I know what drifting is. It's a controlled slide. The fact that fishtailing and drifting are so similar in describing what's going on does it make you seem knowledgable for pointing out that I'm fishtailing?

^ For the good comments.

Feeling better now. Initially I was thinking of pulling this video back out because no one here was showing any love for what I'm trying to show about owning a fun car.
Isn't that why we are all here? (rhetorical question)

Thanks for those that liked the video. Any comments on the editing or music choice?

the s2k rear end breaks loose very easy....i would just go to an empty parkin lot if i were you. If a cop happens to see you you doing that on public roads with traffic, you might get a reckless driving ticket. looks fun though...i used to do that all the time in the rain when i was in highschool, back when i had my 240sx. Stay safe.

Just don't do that with oncoming traffic. In the videos it looked like you had some room, but it just takes 1 mistake either by you or the oncoming driver to turn a fun outing into a disaster. I would try to find a more deserted area if I were you.

Looks like it was a lot of fun....but at the same time I saw no drifting going on.
I do the same on rainy days, but I hit up empty parking lots. It looked like a safe envirenment considering there weren't that many cars, but then again anything can happen.

next time have our buddy stand at the exit of the corner and record from there.

I've put in a lot of seat time in parking lots before doing it on the roads that you guys see in the videos. I agree it's must safer to begin that way...which I have.

From an outsider's perspective unfamiliar with drifting, I know it can be seen as reckless driving. No one here is a perfect angel on the road I'm sure of that.
You have to get to know me and ride with me to judge me though. I believe I'm a good driver overall...safety wise and all. I'm not into speeding, I just enjoy the experience from driving in general. The drifting part...it has a bad connotation and mixes the lines between a safe and a good driver. All my friends that have riden with me trust that I will drive them around safely. I'm a good driver guys, don't let this mislead how I drive my S around town daily. I wanted the video to be complete so I put in all parts include those parts where I didn't drift and drove passed traffic. My mistake, because that threw up a flame flag for some. Don't' hold that against me, just watch it again and notice that I had plenty of room at the places where I did the drifts and had total and confident control of the wheel. I've been doing this for a long time and wanted to share it to the community.

I mean geez, everyone is asking questions about how realiable the S is in the rain or if it can drift. And many responses are talking down on the S that it isn't good for either and people argue over this all the time. Just want to share this with my fellow owners.
