S2000 Drifting in the rain video...

i'm have some experience in drifting, and noticed in your drifts has a couple flaws in that video. (or maybe i'm just picky)
i noticed you slow down abit before the corner in order for you to use the car's power to initiate the drift. it's quite dangerous when you try to countersteer single handed. I'm not concerned about the risk factor behind using one hand, but the inaccurate countersteer which makes you countersteer in a wide range.
also when you are towards the exit of your drift, try to pull it straighter before it regains traction. I noticed you release your throttle at the end of the drift to regain traction, instead of controlling the throttle to let it regain traction slowly. It gives the drift a much higher visual pleasure that way, and also less of a risk of throwing the tail to the other side accidently.
or maybe i'm just an idiot talking crap.
anyways, here's a video of me drifting (my previous car, not s2000)

I apologize if my comment was taken as an insult...
Let me rephrase... What you did in that video was "moronic"... You are not necessarily a moron, and I didn't mean that as a personal attack.
"Drifting" in the rain is easy... well, atleast easier than on dry pavement... But what's going to happen when you are doing that and you hit a slick spot (like black ice) caused by fluids on the road which bead up when it rains?
You could have hit that SUV head on.... You were REALLY close to that happening... One miscalculation and you could have whipped the other end around and BAM!
Do an autocross... a track day... a HPDE... a "drift" event... Just don't do things like that on a public street. It's really ignorant to think that you have the right to put others lives in danger like that.
I know it's fun, I've "fishtailed" around corners plenty of times and I feel that I've "mastered" the control and balance of my S as well... but I wouldn't do it around others, and especially not with oncoming traffic on an undivided roadway, in the rain....
Just my .02...
Be safe out there.

I'm not a careless drifter kid...that seems to be the stereotype of drifters...odd the way this is when drifting is becoming mainstream now.
OK...I understand the concern for safety for others out there too. I'm a good driver, my friends trust me, I have not had any speeding tickets for over 5 years or any reckless driving ever. Just because I shared this video doesn't mean this is something I do in the public roads everyday and drive careless like this at all times. I hope people can see this perspective. Who hasn
