Oil burns very, very well.. as long as it's at the right temperature, with a source of ignition, poof. Same idea as diesel..

Images aren't working though..

The filter did not fail because it was a "Fram". I'm not giving any commentary as to the quality of the filter itself. But in this case, the filter would have come off even if it was the almightly PCX from Honda.

So I finally figured out that when I did the oil change, the filter gasket from the filter I took off stuck to the block. Two gaskets DO NOT seal better than one.

Did someone forget to check if the old oil filter ring got stuck on? and then sandwiched the old and new one together?

excuse my ignoramous but could someone clarify what happend here. I thought he fixed the situation and popped off the second ring and put only one in the way it was supposd to be and got everything back to normaly minus the spilled oil all over the place (which he said didnt burn) so what was the cause of this fire...
