S2000 next to a Z4...
I saw a silver MCoupe with rims yesterday and just about wet myself. I don't know how anyone can hate that car it is so beautiful. Much nicer than the new Z4, that's for sure. Though I hear the Z4 is a superb car to drive. . .

Hi Skreemn -
Apparently my attempt at wit and sarcasm did not work.
My admittedly sexist point was that the Z4 was designed and created for people who are more concerned with being seen than actually driving.

I appreciate your comments but have you considered that the BMW's or Porsche's that these women drive may actually belong to their husbands? The flip side to your comments are that if these women can afford a BMW, Lexus, Porsche etc, why shouldnt that be their car of choice. Obviously, with the price tags that these cars come with, BMW's marketing is going to be aimed at that sector of the market. Most of the BMW's I see here ABQ are driven by more mature people - maybe because they are the only ones who can afford them. Everybody has some kind of status symbol and I dont think that we should try to slot certain people into certain kinds of cars because of their gender or age, money or lack of it. Each to their own.

Sorry, I think I'm not being very articulate.
My point is not to disparage, characterize or malaise anyone for their choice in cars. My point was to suggest that BMW created the Z4 with, perhaps, a different market niche in mind than Honda did when it created the S.
Admittedly, I have made some generalizations but I promise, it wasn't to fault those that chose to drive tiptronic Porsches (no matter their hair color, age, or gender). Nor was it to fault BMW for creating this car with, perhaps, a slightly different market in mind. Its good business sense for BMW (and others) to appeal to a broader marketplace. I just don't view the Z4 as a viable competitor.
Can't believe the comments I'm reading her folks - yeah the Z4 is bad but to state that the Z3 is a better looking car defies belief. The Z3 is the ugliest car on 4 wheels - with those god awful chintzy air ducts and retro style fenders. By comparison, the Z4 is waaaaay ahead - the worst aspects being that horrible ridiculous grille(s) and stupid "wave breaking" rear spoiler.
As for "bottle blondes" - do what I do skreemn, just let it all turn grey - far more natural and a lot less pretentious.

I posted it earlier. I think they tried to follow the S but didn't want to make it too obvious.

I wonder why though?
