Default s2000 straight pipes

i have an apexi exhaust but ive allways been curious on how straight pipes would sound and what effect it would have on the motor , upgrade or downgrade???

does anybody have a video this?...

it is extremely annoyingly loud and screetchy. heard on an S race car.

so it is an upgrade for the motor...

cus if the spoon car has it should help power wise. of course when its NA...

It will sound like ass, pretty much any 4 cylinder w/o a muffler does. Loud and buzzy. It will drive you and anyone around you deaf. You can disconnect your exhaust and dump from the header if you want a sample.

No, if you don't have serious upgrades, it is a step down because you lose back pressure. You also happen to get worse gas mileage in some cases.

Since you lose back pressure, exhaust can actually leak back in to the cylinder while the exhaust valve is still open.

i have an apexi and a straight, and naw, it doesnt sound like ass, but its loud as hell. it wont have that deep sound no more, ppl say my car sounds exotic, when i come around they look for an exotic car. but its stinks and its loud!! my ear rings after a few race.
