Funny a couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to test sevral cars including AMV8, Audi R8 V8, F430, LP-560 and F458 Italia.
I don't know what you're really looking for in a car but I was very disapointed by the Aston. Of course it's great looking, well made but absolutely not fun to drive comparing to my stock S2K.
In the end of the day, I'd jump in my S2K to see if I could keeep on following the group...I was quite surprised the AMV8 had some serious problem to take a big leap in our touge...
It was a great day but I'm even more fond of my Moonrock now !
Darklight - First time I drove a V8V I was of the same opinion as you.
Especially as my Moonrock was 418BHP with a great suspension setup
My requirements changed and the modded S no longer does it for me.
The Aston is not a "supercar" so comparing it to F430's etc is missiing the point. It is a very good GT with a real sense of occasion every time you drive it. For me that is better than a "mental" car I cannot use on the UK's road
omairtheman1 - as far as I can tell from AMOC they are very reliable many are daily drives in the UK, the do suffer from elctronic grmelins sometimes but AM are very quick to sort these under warranty.
as much as I love how the Aston looks interior/exterior wise, I hate just about everything else about it.
Did you drive it before you bought?
It's like finding out Angelina Jolie is horrible at giving head. Yeah, she's gorgeous and has DSLs, making ya think that she'd be a pro....but turning out to be absolutely horrid. That's how I feel about the Aston, whether it's city driving or on a track. Looks gorgeous and makes ya think it'd be a great car to drive, but... just isn't.
Stunning car without a doubt, easily one of the best looking cars ever.

I thought I'd waiting until I'd put some proper miles on it, dealer test drives don't really cut it.
Based on 300 miles round the Welsh mountains on my favourite S routes I'm more than happy it is a better drive than my 418BHP supercharged S was
