Default S2000 vs. 350Z

I found this video on youtube, it pits a current S2000 against a current 350Z.

Sorry, I didn't know that it was a old. I've never see a video of a stock S2000 going against a stock 350Z on a real track 1 on 1 before so I thought that it would be something good to post.

yeah thats a great vid. Its a shame honda didnt upgrade the s2000 package with a nice bump in HP like the 350z has gotten several times now. :/

Looks like the compition has outgrown us.

there's a good Best Motoring video that pits an S2000, 350Z, M3, and Boxster against each other. the 350Z in that one had an aftermarket oil cooler in the passenger seat and it won, with the S2000 coming 2nd and then the M3 and the Boxster was like half a lap behind.

Ah... so that's where my problem lies. I don't make a living on this forum and I hardly ever go to youtube.

I just saw a cool video and said, "Hey, what's the last time I saw a post showing our Nissan nemisis and beloved S2000 going head to head in a stock to stock competition? I bet that the fella's would love to see this." Even though the S2000 loss, it was worth posting for general knowledge.

Also, I was kind of wondering how the "new" 350Z would do against the S2000 now that it has 306 hp.

I didn't realize that it would pull away from the S2000 like it did. In fact, I'm sure that the time difference would have been more than 2 seconds if the 350Z started out in front of the S2000. I saw where it wanted to pass but couldn't because there was no space.
