S2k Trailer.... DONE!
time is my most valuable resource right now as im slammed with my bidness but im open to help someone
it started off as a harbor freight 40x48" trailer with 12" wheels which was 229 minus the 25% off. the suspension (softer+Longer leafs + shocks + shackle kit) about 150, steel was about 200, misc bolts etc about 50 bucks, paint was about another 50, wood was 200 (cedar) stain + epoxy bar glaze was about 50, so all in all not including tools (since ill use those on everything else and i dont consider that part of the cost as they are more of a life long investment, unless i was to amortize them over the course of my life
) was about 850 bucks. oh plus the LED lights i think were about 75 so maybe roughly 950 - 1000. tools i bought during the build were -
Steelmax saw 500
blade for steelmax saw, 135
devilbiss spray gun with 3 nozzels + regulator 229
i think i had everything else for the most part
but like i was saying to the other guys time is the most important commodity for me so u'd have to grind all weld points first, then bolt it together, and u can just bring it over n ill weld it for ya
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT!
man it feels good to have praise from my s2k brothas, i get so many haters hahaha, like wtf why would u do that to an S2k! etc etc. well its cuz i hate driving trucks, i can buy one, but then what, you have a truck to drive haha. i dont feel i would need a truck yet as i dont need to lug more than 1k lbs around and this did well, if anything i gotta get an 7-8 passenger suv for the fam instead of us using 2 cars to go out lol, next on the list after i swap in my new motor, LX470 probably - plus the trailer will still come in handy
again its awesome to hear people like it, i do

Holy balls that thing is awesome!
Such craftsmanship!
I'd love to have something like this but smaller to lug around tools, extra wheels and tires to a track day.
That'd living the dream!
I need to learn how to weld first though!

I'll have to look into that.
