No, if you look closely at the first pics you can see that there is a distinct seam just fwd of the rear window in the c pillar that extends most of the way up the rear slope. This should be detachable allowing the trunk to be used

Would it come with "shocks" to help hold up the top, like in many hatchback cars? The extra weight from the top and window must make it a bear to open.
