looks good,

but, boooo, for not actually designing a new top.

if you did this for yourself too improve on the original and were only using it for personal use, great.

but the fact is this is a product that is using another companies original design developed over many years, to in the end, make money.

thanks for the comments guys!

the top is a replica of the spoon/moonrock hardtop but shine fixed a couple problems with fitment of the top while making this top safer by adding side windows to eliminate the blindspots associated with the original top. the side windows makes the interior less gloomy by alowing more light into the cabin.
Pricing is not set in stone yet but the kit will be sold with all the hardware needed for installation and the windows.

03 9G, honda did a design that was emulated by mooncraft for this roof. its from the S600 coupe:

jdm jedi, the pics were taken at vineyard at the animal business park. thats were shine is located.

thanks again.

Not to be an ass or anything but isnt this the same as the mooncraft top ? I mean yes you have a window but its pretty much a copy of that design.

A lot of you guys hate on ROTA or other companies that make "knock off" parts but yet you give thumbs up to this one ? Does anyone see what im getting at ? It is stuff like this that really gives me a laugh.

I like it a lot though and it makes the care look like something else other than a s2k. Keep up the good work. personally if you can do it for cheaper go for it.

unlike rota, shine actually cares about the quality of their products. they pride themselves in that. for example, they actually made this product fit better than the original and they made it safer by adding the side window to help reduce with the blindspots. I agree with you that if I can get a product that is more affordable, I would, but I want a high quality product too. quality and affordability doesnt usually go together but not in this case.

i saw this top at shine auto, in person, and i picked up the rear section with my own hands. I was surprised by how lightweight it was, and how great the finish looked. good stuff, and exellent quality.
