its a good copy job. im glad you guys improved the fitment issues and took the time to add windows.

i just wish it was a more original design. i mean i think even the spoon hardtop would look better if it wasnt so tapered in the rear and actually followed the lines of the car. other than matching the width of the 3rd brake light, it seems too arbitrary. the side profile is great (love the duck bill), but it gets me when i see the rear and 3/4 view.

oh well. still looks good overall and a good effort.

unlike rota, shine actually cares about the quality of their products. they pride themselves in that. for example, they actually made this product fit better than the original and they made it safer by adding the side window to help reduce with the blindspots. I agree with you that if I can get a product that is more affordable, I would, but I want a high quality product too. quality and affordability doesnt usually go together but not in this case.
I would respond here but it would get way off topic. I think a lot of people are going to hold you to that quality and affordability statement

thanks for the comments guys!

the top is a replica of the spoon/moonrock hardtop but shine fixed a couple problems with fitment of the top while making this top safer by adding side windows to eliminate the blindspots associated with the original top. the side windows makes the interior less gloomy by alowing more light into the cabin.
Pricing is not set in stone yet but the kit will be sold with all the hardware needed for installation and the windows.

03 9G, honda did a design that was emulated by mooncraft for this roof. its from the S600 coupe:

jdm jedi, the pics were taken at vineyard at the animal business park. thats were shine is located.

thanks again.
never saw a cp version on any factor S .....wish Honda would make a cp before the S is gone forever ....What ever happened to the S2000 cp concept
btw i think i my be getting a hard top soon , just have to save more $$$ .

I just want to let everyone know that I do NOT work for Shine. Im just an entusiast like you guys that want a high quality product without the name brand price. There's nothing wrong with saving money!
