After nearly two years of motoring bliss, I've finally decided to trade in my beloved S2000 I'm going to need something nice to help me get over my beloved S2000:
P-Car to the rescue! Just picked up a widebody 1997 Carrera 2S with a M030 suspension and technology rims. I've had my eye on this car for a long time and it took forever to finally find a nice example (< 800 imported to the US!) Porsche's Glacier white is very nice (has a nice pearly blue tint):
Took these shots today with my Canon Digital EOS Rebel
She's got a J-Lo butt!
I do feel like Mr. Lucky
Parked on the side of the road
Now I just need to get a set of BBS LMs to keep the tradition going!
The only thing that sucks about owning a Porsche is that there's no S2ki! I still plan on lurking around here.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, driving impressions....
Engine:
Obviously the Porsche has more torque. Although the Porsche sounds incredible (especially with the factory motorsound package), I still miss the S2K's F1-like wail and 9K redline. One cool thing about the Porsche is that you can let out the clutch without any gas and it moves - no stalling (perfect for lazy drivers like me ) Quite a contrast to the S2K's city driving manners.
Shifter:
Is there anything from Germany that can even come close the S2Ks shifter??? I think not.
Handling/Ride:
This is one of the main reason's I traded in my S2K. I was too cheap to get coilovers and was getting sick of the ride with my kg/mms. While my Porsche is lowered, it rides as softly as a BMW (in most cases). Perfect balance of ride quality and handling.
Brakes:
While the S2K has great brakes, The Porsche's brakes have a nice firm feel to them. You can't go wrong with big Brembos!
Steering:
No contest. Although my S2K has quick steering, I now know what others mean by numb steering (for the S2K). With the Porsche, you can literally "feel" the road.
Fun Factor:
While the Porsche gets the looks (although not a whole lot more than my S2K), the S2K is hard to beat on fun factor (especially on a hot day with the top down). Maybe after I get some new rims on the C2S...
On a side note, I went back to the Porsche dealer today and talked to my salesperson. He said that the entire sales staff took my S2K out after work for joy rides. My poor car was violated by dirty salespeople!
