I've been thinking about polishing my mufflers. What process did you use to polish them?

remove original paint with sanding or paint remover, then i wet sanded with 600,800,1000,1500,2000 grid sand paper and then hand polished with metal polish paste .
mufflers are polished at least 1 year now and there is no sign of rust still shining just after you wash the car, dry them with compressed air or wipe them.

oem mufflers are cool, nice work on them. Car looks nice and clean, nice build. The mufflers should be stainless so they should not rust.
