I purchased ninedeep's hood. I originally had every intention of painting it Sebring. I just couldn't wait to see it on my car, so we installed it(thanks ninedeep and 1a-race). Now I'm not sure if I want to paint it. Hell, I didn't even want the darn thing... my wife bought it! She wanted it and I wanted the J's CF hood. But, it's growing on me.

Opinions? One person suggested that I paint the trunk to match. I have SSR GT1's that I'm going to have powdercoated gunmetal or black. Thanks for ANY comments!

Yes, that is m777erlin next to me. And yes, his car makes mine look very ordinary... thank you.

Wife won't go for black. Guess I'll be painting it after OBX Run.

I think from the pics it looks sweet, and I usually do not like the hoods that aren't body color.

It would be different, but you would have to do the trunk, and maybe a hardtop in Silverstone, plus Gunmetal wheels. Much cheaper/easier to paint the hood, Sebring. But it might be interesting...

Skip,
Nice meeting you on Saturday. If I were you I would (in order):

1) leave it alone (possibly consider getting the CF trunk that Evolution sells)

2) Paint it Sebring not Black.

Either way, it looks nice.

I'm surprised at how it looks, I kinda like it. I'd paint it Sebring, but if you do other parts Silverstone you'd be original and it'd be kinda cool.
