It is a cosmetic piece.

The pressure switch is blocked off because it isn't actually used. Engagement is controlled through the EMS, that switch is not needed on my car. If you are using a stock ecu, then yes, you will need to install your pressure switch. The block off plug DOES NOT come with the solenoid.

A vtec solenoid cap would be nice, I may have to add that to my Christmas list.
