Default Some Engine Bay VTEC Bling

I thought I'd put together a quick writeup for one of the newer parts released from Skunk2 for the S2000.
This is the black series VTEC solenoid. It is an anodized billet aluminum body replacement.

The stock unit.
Tip: Loosen the 3 top bolts and pressure switch with the solenoid still attached to the head

side by side

swap over the spool gasket

top view

you can just turn the valve upside down to remove the piston/spring

swapped over

reinstall the top w/ supplied hardware

assembled

w/ the pressure swich blocked off (the block off is a seperate part)

mounted w/ the supplied bolts (note: 1 supplied bolt is longer than the others. It goes in the upper corner)

for 119.99, they could have at least included the solenoid top cover, looks nice though.
