Oh I love the Mooneys. There is one over here at another flight school across the field and it can be rented. The only negative thing that I hear about them is that they are not very forgiving on landings. If you hit the runway with even just a little crab that could put too much load on the gear. Not saying that I can't put it down straight How much diffrent was the Mooney compared to the warrior? The mooney rents for about $120 wet at KLZU.

Flyings like the Cherokee with the hershey bar wings. Its an awsome aircraft, its hard to bleed speed though because its so slick. This one is in awsome shape, only 1400hr TT on it. It rents for $140 wet. Mooney > Warrior : ) I still love the warrior though, Im flying one out tommoarw for lunch.

Nice pics

Kind of a strange question, but wtf is up with the big blue house towords the upper right side of this picture?

It looks like the blue house was built on top of, and around the little barn type building

Those are some incredible pics of one of my favorite cities! (Go Eagles!) I like the second set at twilight even more than the first ones. The shots across the river are simply inspiring. Truly nice work!

Great pics. Love'm. Looks like you were taking advantage of the 500 foot rule in some of them.

That's not a bad price. I rent the archers at KGTU for around 100 wet. To get a complex airplane like the Mooney for 120 would be a bargain. The closest I can come is a Bonanza for close to 200. That Mooney in the picture looks like an older Mooney Mustang but it still has great performance. There is no doubt you have to watch the landings in the Mooney. The gear is robust, being the only one that is certified without a backup, but no crab landings and no bouncers....
