False (again).

The StopTech ST40 caliper has a much larger selection than the Spoon/Honda OEM. I would not say the ST40 caliper has the "BIGGEST" selection of pads, but it's quite large since it's based on the calipers that Porsche used in the 964 and 993 - the pad shape is almost identical. The 993 used it as a front caliper on the carerra and used it as a rear caliper on the Turbo.

Anyway, you'll find a much better pad selection for the ST40 caliper than you will the Spoon monoblock.

That is relative though. The Honda OEM size used on the Spoon is fairly widely supported.

On Spoon monoblocks you can fit stock s2000 honda pads, and all pads that come in that size (FA civic, tsx, rsx, etc)

I personally think a benefit to this is that they are still Honda pads and widely available.
The only thing you need to do is just shave off the two little nipple things that come on the back of pads. That takes 10 seconds with a dremel.

however Spoon are not a bbk and you are still held back by factory rotor sizes and options. It wasn't until recently that companies started making directional vain rotors for oem rotor sizes.

Spoon Calipers are alright, but they are still held back by their baby rotor. Then again on an s2000, you dont really need more than a good rotor and pad combo when it comes to basic performance. So yea, you are paying for bling unless you are running alot of power.
