OP, props to you. those are pretty clean for steelies. i think most of these guys just looked at the pics, skipped your comments and took you way too seriously.

Widened steelies look awesome on older vw's, etc. but not on an S. Maybe if someone actually did a sick set of custom widened steelies it would look better... but this didn't refer to a whole lot.... you just threw 300 steelies on a car.
