Congrats and nice work so far!

I need to do a process like that on my ap2v1's. But first I need to fix the curbage the previous owner(s) did to them.

What products did you use on the rims?

thanks again for the kind words fellas, I cant wait till I actually get a proper photoshoot so you can really see how deep the paint looks. Let me go through the detailing process.

The car was washed 2 times over with Megs gold class shampoo. I then clayed it 2 times with blue clay magic aggressive clay, which will swirl the paint for sure (i reccomend something less abrasive for monthly duties). The car was compounded using a makita rotary with LC purple foamed wool and meguiars 95/105, hit it with something in the middle with menzerna super intensive polish, and then finished off with 106ff (50% alcohol in between each stage of polish). You just have to be real careful when finishing off on berlina since it is finicky sometimes. Depending on the detail or preference of the customer, I will either wax or seal the paint. In this case, since it will only be a weekend car, i waxed it with 100% carnauba wax sealed it in with a few acrylic layers of wolfgang sealant and then added another layer of acrylic danase wet glaze. The engine bay was presoaked and treated with a very dilute mix of simple green, everything was rinsed and then protected with 303, and then sealed up with wolfgang. IThe rims were polished up with super intensive polish and finished off with 106ff, they chewed up my pads pretty good and had to be thrown away. Ive always loved cleaning cars, it just a different perspective of appreciating your car.

Congrats on the purchase!!! Kool story, I miss mines!!! You made the right choice! The S2000 feels better than the Evo. Only got the Evo really because I'm have a baby on the way. I will be back in one of these 2-seaters again.
