Sunk Face TE-37's...low low offset
So after 4 months, I finally received my new wheels: Sunk Face TE-37's for my rears. As many of you know, i've been running standard offset TE-37's for a while now. However, Sunk face TE's have always been my favorite wheel. I did a little research and found the highest offset I could get a TE to be sunkface.
I know all of you are going to ask a bunch of questions, so let me see if I can get a headstart and post all the info that I think you all will be wanting to find out:
Wheel Sizes:
17x8.5 +50
17x9.0 +22
Tire Sizes:
245/40/17
255/40/17
Camber:
Front -2.00
Rear -2.75
Fender modifications:
Front: Seibon 10mm wider with lip cut out
Rear: Quarter panel trimmed, bumper bolt relocated, rear bumper trimmed, rear over fender trimmed.
And the million dollar question: DO I RUB?
Currently I'm still having issues rubbing the back bumper where it meets the quarter panel. The wheels clear everything else. I will need to do a bumper pull modification to get rid of all the rubbing....but this shouldn't be too difficult.
Updated 06/15/08 - I pulled the rear bumper out and cut more quarter panel for more clearance. rubbing is now very minimal. I'll need to cut more quarter panel to eliminate it completely. (pictures page 5)
Now on with the pictures

Random rear shot to show off my Asuka Trunk

UPDATE 05/15/08
I pulled the rear bumper out to create more wheel clearance before I headed out to the track last friday. Only took me 30 minutes. I pulled the rear bumper out, drilled a new mounting hole, and held it together with the existing bumper bolt. It is now flush with the rear overs. I have eliminated most of the rubbing. I only rub now if I hit a big dip in the freeway/street. I'll need to cut off a little more quarter panel to get the rubbing to completely stop. i will finish it hopefully next week

Pics taken at a meet this past thursday:

I took the car to the track on Friday. I was expecting to rub all over the place, but i only rubbed in a couple spots. The rubbing was minimal and did not affect my track times. I did bring a dremel and grinder just in case....I was ready to start cutting if the rubbing became a problem

Thanks to AJ (AP2) for the complimentary mounting
Thanks to EvasiveMotorsports for ordering these wheels for me and getting them to me in one piece
