No....17x9 +22 is the least wide, highest offset to get sunk face. Unfortunately, they don't make 8 or 8.5 in a low enough offset to get the sunk face (check Ray's Engineering website). I've researched this heavily and asked many people about this (including Mackin employees)...and this is it. If I could have gotten away with a thinner wheel, I would have cuz this is pushing the limits.

It drains off...there is a rain "gutter" on the side of the trunk that funnels water out before it gets into the trunk
