My cousins in Taiwan are pretty well-off doctors and they won't even drive anything more than a Toyota Camry. They're too scared of friends and family asking for money due to obvious wealth, not to mention the many many dings they would get just by parking on the street or driving around the city.
oh and regarding the import taxes.. usually there is acap to it.. so the first 30K USD will br 100 percent tax and thats brand new .. but then again if you're paying the 'market' price for these cars, then whats another 30k...
fwiw, market price for a new skyline here is around 170,000USD and oh yea.. thats before the 'registration'(read rape you up the ass) tax..
