when I was in high school (86-90) lowered mini pickups were huge. i never, ever, ever understood it.
i know that mini pickups offered a fairly cheap basis to modify but you take a perfectly good truck, slam the crap out of it and end up with something that is arguably worse looking, rides like crap, etc. of course the other thing was big ol' stereos in these trucks. again, why? why not take the $5K you spent on a stereo, add it to the $5K you spent on the truck and buy something nice for $10K?
ah well, to each his/her own.
