Ernie,

Let me get this straight. Jory is running a 16x8 +45 rear wheels with 245/45/16 tires which he may rub with OEM rear fenders. Now if he slaps the CF rear lips on and doesnt cut anything out and adds a 10mm spacer to the rear he will rub for sure. He has to cut the OEM lip thats remaining under the CF rear lips in order to make them beneficial.
exactly. to run wider rims/tires in the rear, you must cut the OEM fender where the ASM over-fender goes otherwise it's just a "bling" piece and not functional like it's meant to be.

if you race your car on the track...yes you have to cut the panel...but if you just driving your car on the street will be fine......

Don't take this the wrong way Ernie (i think is your name?) I'm running 18x8.5 +47 LE28's with 255/35 tire on stock suspension and have rubbed before. It's not a matter of where you're driving (street/track), its a matter of how much (inches) the suspension compresses. J'sAP1 hit the nail right on the head, which is what I was trying to say, Jory's car is not benefiting from the ASM panels if he didn't cut away the OEM panel underneath.

One day, I'd like to run Diez style (17x9.5 w/255's all the way around)wheels and tires, but obviously I'll need wider rear and front fenders.
