I test drove a X before I got my S (sold my Evo 8). My old evo put down 341 whp so when I test drove the new one it just felt like I wasn't moving at all (the new X's are pretty heavy 
). I still would have gotten one but they argued with me over a $1000 on a trade so I walked. Then I sold the 8 for $4000 more than the dealer was going to give me on a trade 
They still had about 10 of them sitting on the lot when I moved. They're trying to market these $40k cars to younger people and, big surprise, they're just not selling. Go figure lol
The other question is if the new aluminum engine will hold up as well to the beating as the 4g63 did
