why don't you let somebody do a pictune in photoshop?
This will help deciding

I believe it MIGHT look "ok" if you put it on a very clean shaped/not agressive tuned S2k, and it would really have to be slammed...

they are to "DUB" for the S. Try something different but keep it in the performance style look

Just so you know I love....I mean LOVE Giovanna, Barletta wheels

and wanted to try them out on the S but everyone around me helped me come to senses.

I at least empathize with you

looks great for a VIPcar. The S2000 just doesn't look right in VIPstyle IMHO.
I say try it. You never know about the outcome. I wouldn't think that an RSX would look good in VIP style, but I kinda warmed up to the idea once I saw it:

Nope....I kinda like how that RSX looks. I'm sort of partial to that VIP style. In fact, I almost sold my Integra to get into a car that I could do a little more VIP-ish.

I'm sure someone at some point is going to try the VIP style thing with an S2000 (if someone in Japan hasn't already)....may as well be someone here on S2Ki.

Not everyone has to follow the Volk/Mugen/Spoon/ Seibon <-- formula.

It'd be interesting to see something different (not Veilside different, VIP different).

How much do you think the Miata folks hated on this when the first person to do this did it?

(I personally think that'd be one of the only ways I'd ever drive or ride in a Miata...otherwise, throw a rainbow sticker on my shirt and drop the top)!

I think they will look horrible on the S, no matter what size lip you can fit with them, but that is just my own opinion. They look more like rims for an S-class or an SUV than for an S IMO. I like your workmeisters the best... just keep those.
definately keep your workmeisters, the offset is sick cool!
