Pretty much what he said. 45-60 grand. There was a real nice 97 or 98 R33 for 70K for sale in Seattle. Totally legal and about 50 grand in tasteful upgrades. The 97+ R33 has projector headlights with HID. The R32 is more tossable, I would compare a 33 to a Supra dynamically.

sounds like an unreliable overpriced right hand driver that will be required to smog yearly with the ref.... wantone needs to strap a blower to a c5/z06 and be done with it.

i too share an affinity for those cars with you Wantone, but dont throw 30 grand at it. its not going to be worth it unless you have that money burning a hole in your pocket. its a shame skylines are SO overpriced here, that and technically not legal. lol

maybe one day.. but id much rather fix up my s with that money, and save the rest. wouldn't you?

if it's no-shit legal that's a deal, my buddy gru has a R32 GT-R and i believe he put down 35k for it.

i don't think you'd ever regret it, they are SWEET cars

edit: i just saw the guy above me posted they aren't legal. no true, my friend's is totally 100% absolutely legal. THAT's why they're expensive. they're not overpriced, it's just the shipping and legalization that kills you.

if you get one shipped from japan and go thru the hassle of getting it legal, you are looking at 60k EASY

that thing's a deal

Not at all.

R34 maybe, but the R32 is simply the most badass of all GTRs.

Save it, take the 30k and drop it off at Nissan for a downpayment for the #1 spot on the list for the new one
