IMO knock offs are great, because without them we are forced to buy Highly priced items that only JDM companies make. For things like Wheels, Engine, and Coilovers i would get the real deal, because those are the most important components of the car and going cheap and fake will likely be a disaster. items for looks it wouldn't matter to me, i would get replicas too when im ready to mod the cars for looks. If it does the same thing, look the same, and some might be even more durable then the real thing for 50% less of the price why not? The issue that should be brought up is paint service that will be painting these replica, because they might need a bit more prepwork than the real thing.
