a lot of the people that said ur car looks rice really need to look at their own car, no offense but anything other than oem looks rice, most of the jdm parts look really ricer. the rear diffuser look rice, the bumpers, ect... oh and carbon fiber hoods thats rice, i dont care how light it is. oh and the huge wngs other people put on their s, yea it serves as a purpose but its still rice.

remember guys we drive hondas which to most people think is rice. hope i made sense its late and a little tipsy.

I did it on my BB... then i ditches it and painted my OEM's gunmetal. Im very happy with that look.

 

i dunno if i agree with all of this.

the s2000 has been my dream car for years and years now. i can't imagine anyone ever calling it "rice". it is a racing car even in stock form, not like a civic hatch that takes lots of money to make it at its full potential.

i think the s2000 is right up there in class with the NSX. both of which are hondas, and neither of which is rice.

you can make them rice, sure. but i don't think all GT style wings are rice, if it flows well with the car and it actually dooes see track time. even though i hate how they look. i can understand them.

diffusors are the same, although i could see myself rocking one eventually.



but yes, i don't see how changing the color of your OEM wheels is rice.... like i said, if he painted his AP2 vs wheels like all the rest of you, it would look great. but since he had ap1 wheels which most poeple don't like, they bash it.

Original Poster; what needs to be said has been said from a bunch of different perspectives. maybe post some new pics with the wheels cleaned and see how people like it.

its not rice, but it could be nicer. thats about it.

 

Time attack, and black with polished lip needs a bigger rim. 16's are too small as is and T/A 16's look tiny. Just my opinion of course.

I am a fan of T/A color scheme, but mainly on a black car .

i hear all this rice talk and no aftermarket lugs on stock wheels but would you consider it rice if an ap1 had ap2 v1 wheels powdercoated gunmetal or black with aftermarket lugs?

 

i only like em if they are done professionally and right...
