Top Secret CF Hood
Hello! I thought I would share some shots of my new Top Secret CF Hood.
The bubble rap wasn't ripped when I opened the box (I got to excited
). (The overall packaging was great.) I actually ripped it myself to see the finish of the hood. In my opinion the mold of the hood is excellent. The carbon layout is second to none. Every carbon weave is perfectly straight. The edges are cut out smooth and even.
The only bad thing (but not a major factor) the clear coat could be better. You can't really see unless you really try, but you can see a very light brush mark. To a normal person see will not even notice it. Only picky people like me will
... The fitting, I will be doing some time this week. Will try to take some of the fitting pics.
By the way, its soooooooper light! Compare to stock, this one feels about quater or less of its weight. I here that its about 11lbs? I personally have not weight it.

This small vent. I always thought, this had a removalbe rain gutter; like the other to big vents. But I was wrong. This is actually a permenant one. Can't remove this one. But this vent cannels through the other two big vents.

Here is a under hood shot. You can see an endention (not a good angle shot, but the second shot is better). This is where your J's or Mugen or any snorkel should fit. With out any modification of cutting out a whole, like the stock one.

Removable rain gutters.

Spray wholes.

Spray whole, where the clear coat was missed
. But my spreyer should cover it
.

I for got, but this also came with it. Alloy Competition Bonnet/Boot Pins.

I've seen pics of some TS hoods which have mesh in the vents - is that an option or something customised?
