Default Top Secret front end Version 2?

Since my intercooler blocks just about the whole area in the opening of the Top Secret bumper and the radiator is not getting enough airflow, I wanted to get ready for the summer and increase the airflow to the radiator by doing this (my first PS attempt ever ):

Let me know what you think.

This is the non-photochoped version:

EDIT: Can someone with skils please chop this one the same way as the first pic?

This is my atempt

It might be hard to make the edges smooth and as clean as it is right now, but I bet a good shop can do it. Functional, unique!

I can't tell from those pics, but is that just exposing more of your intercooler or are you cutting the bumper above where the intercooler sits to get more flow to the radiator like you say?

If the intercooler is still going to be the only thing showing then you're not going to increase ariflow to the radiator as you say is your goal.

How about leaving the bumper as is, and welding up some new mounts and IC piping to make yourself a V-mount setup? This way both the intercooler and radiator will get a nice even flow of air?

Why dont you attach a air dam to the bottom of the bumper.. i know it will reduce your clearance but it will force more air up and into the intercooler. (think Ford GT)

^^ good idea
also, the vents on the side can be used as well. you can use dryer venting/tubes to direct air into your ic some how.

The IC is as big as the opening, I even painted it black so NO I am not trying to show more of it. I think I will just remove some "material" from the inside/top of the bumper to give the radiator what it needs. Now it's no issue at all, we have 70F, but in summer, every inch of clearance will be good to have. Thanks for the ideas guys!

Damn don't you already have the Koyo radiator too? You could always just cut some massive holes up top like Cody
