Default Two very different approaches to power...

One is VTEC, the other is Wisonsin Power and Light windmill-generated electricty. Took some beeyooteeful shots on the way back from Road America today...RA was fun, too. TC Kline's S2000 came in second in T2. Touring sucked goats, though, it was very slow.

Anyway, I passed these windmills on the way and back I decided to try to get close to them to take some pix. Here's what I snapped today...they look groovey!

Here is a shot of TC Kline's S2000 rounding turn 5...

It was great to see an S2000 out there like that. We met all those folks, very good people, they need our support!

That porta-john to the left of that picture is where Jules and my bikes were parked pretty much all day Saturday (by the Marshall station at corner 5). We also watched the start of the Touring/SS race from the grandstands at 5, and had our bikes parked by all those golf-carts to the right of the grandstands. This shot must be later in the race when we rode over to 12 and got to see the Stook almost t-bone a spinning Z3 that hit one of the safety vehicles and continued. I saw you guys on track during touring... looked painful!

Sorry we missed you two. I thought you were racing, so I didn't even think to ask.

I was talking with the Kline driver that wrecked the yellow Z3 and they course marshalls came and got him while we were talking to take him back so he could get the 3rd degree. I was sad for the guy. Even though I didn't see the wreck, I understand that the safety vehicle was around a blind turn just after the apex and didn't even know he was there. Did you see that Formula Vee spin out and roll on 5? Well, the safety vehicle was RIGHT in the way after the apex. I thought it was deplorable handling of accidents and apparently many of the drivers felt the same way...

And yea, that touring...what a complete waste of 50 bucks. You would have thought that about 25 cars would be a wide open track. Well, it would have been were it not for that putz in the Solara pace car topping it out about 7mph...what a joke!

Anyway, let's get out for cocktails this week sometime. So we can be doing this... ----->
