ls1 is about 481 lbs, thats wit a/c and all accessoriers
F20 weights 326 lbs

Not much of a difference if you ask me, especially with the huge gain in performace... Id do it... if i had a ton of money

if you took all the accessories off then it would be close..

And to the OP: This would be a fun car to have. Even just for the wow factor. This is a modern day (my bad) Shelby Cobra. A small, lght weight body with a monster under the hood. It may not be as 'track ready' as an S. But i would love to have one as a 3rd car.

Yeah, exactly!

I can't imagine how the thing drives. As a poster stated a few posts up, the Rx7's respond really really well to this swap and the handling doesn't suffer to much in them. And the numbers given with 481 and 326...I don't think are quite accurate - but that's negligible given the weight increase of a turbo (plus accessories) and obviously you have way more power on tap here (plus higher potential power limit)

Man...it's about time somebody actually gets a video of one running! That's so sick! hboy I know has been working on his for sometime, but I don't think he ever posted pics of it being completed (something about tearing it down and redoing it to better diversify weight between front and back - or something)

Great find OP!

Now he needs some 275s or 285s to get some traction. Sweet build nonetheless
