Heres the thing, when I was looking to buy the Spoon wheels in 16s, here is what I found offset wise in their catalog.

$1900 for 4 wheels without tires,

16x7 front +35 offset 5 by 114
16x8 rear +45 offset 5 by 114

So yes that's the wrong offsets. But when we called Spoon they said they have a 16x7 front with a +45 offset(this will work with the stock S02 for the fronts) and a 16x8 rear +45 for the S2000. To me that's still wrong. I guess maybe if you run a thinner tire? I don't know.
I am running black SSR Type Cs
16x7 with a +42 front offset (which tucks fine)
16x8 with a +45 rear offset (with rolled fenders will tuck fine)
My S2000 is slammed with these offsets on the S02s and it does not rub. Here is a pic...
SSR does have Type Cs (black) in 17s set up like this for the S2000:
17x7.5 with a +48 offset for the front and
17x8.5 with a +55 offset for the rear...

I believe he only slams it that low for the shows. Driving it like would probably shake your fillings out!
And I'm pretty sure those tires will rub with aggressive cornering.
