Of all the videos, this video I present (and it's an old one, so probably posted before a while back) is the best video that I've seen that showcases the NSX-R's overall agility.

While not fast in the straights compared to the Modena, it fought it's way up with NOT GOOD, but EXCELLENT braking, awesome handling, and consistent powerband past all the porsches.

wow, i am so suprised it did so well. i imagine that the nsx-r could've had a better driver which could account for the fact that the nsx-r did so well

All that showed really was that they were used to driving the NSX-R a lot more than the other cars. They know the limits of that car so they pushed it a lot harder. Put a factory Porsche driver in the 911s and redo the race and I'm sure the NSX-R wouldn't have gotten even that close.


I love the NSX-R and all, but it's pretty obvious they pushed that car hard in the race compared to how the 911 drivers were driving.

the NSX-R driver is one of the younger drivers on the series I believe actually, Gan-san's son or something.

How many videos do you guys need to see of the NSX-R before you believe it is faster than these cars on a circuit, at least some circuits? not just best motoring either.

sure these other cars are much faster in a straight line.

no one is deliberately driving slow, you have to remember that all of these other cars are considerable heavier than the NSX-R lightweight on a ciruit benifits everything, not just acceleration.

the NSX-R driver isn't a NSX-R factory driver, I am sure many of these guys have driven Porche's more than most of us have, they know what they are doing.

and being used to driving an NSX is more an attribute to how long it has been around, it is well over 10 years old
