rev limiter works.

Do you know the guy in the evo?

That's pretty close to follow behind someone on the dragon imo
I had seen the guy in the evo moving pretty good all weekend, but other than that, I didn't know him. That's actually a lot farther away then I'd run with somebody I knew and trusted.

is it OK to keep hitting the limiter like that?
Yes.

Going from 3th to 2nd (when you meant to go into 4th) isnt good, thats over-revving, but what he is doing is perfectly okay. thats what its for. Lots of auto-xers do it. no need to keep shifting.

nice driving man. EVO has always been one of my unicorns.

Nice steering but, I could tell you where having problems deciding whether to shift or not when entering corners. It's better to just hold the RPM's at the top of the RPM band when entering a corner rather than just tapping the rev limiter repeatedly. It's not going to damage the car hitting the limiter but, you are losing speed everytime you hit it because it automatically sends the RPM's down.

That would be if he downshifted/misshifted into 2nd too early and overrev'd to 65 million RPM.

Could have used more of 3rd gear. If you had enough road to bounce off 2nd gear rev limiter for 5 seconds straight, you could have shifted to 3rd and kept accelerating. Unless your brakes are fading..
