Nice vid. Pretty well put together. Is it me, or do all those Benzs look out of place at the track - especially that SLK rolling on 20s. It looks like he had a hard time.

I agree with you. It just doesn't seem to fit.

The track prep was horrible, many of them in the video were slipping/spinning tires half way down the track.

Some highlights:

CLS63 (ecu tune, lightweight wheels/tires, 150lbs trunk removal, 110 octane) ran a best of 12.4x@114.xmph

M5 (M6 wheels, custom exhaust, charcoal filters removed)
ran a best of 12.4x@117..xmph

M3 (turbocharged with drag radials)
ran a best of 12.2x secs

E55 (claimed to be stock)
ran a best of 12.2x secs

I thought, if you have street tires, that you are supposed to skip the Water Box?

Anyway, those were some nice cars. It's nice to see some high end cars that aren't afraid to play.

All the newbies just copied what the pro dragsters were doing I guess.

But you are right, unless you have drag radials, burnouts=wasted rubber.
