Yes, it can be pieced out

If you have the authentic Mugen top, the rear window wont work though. The size and so forth is different, as well as the installation. You can also PM me if there are specific questions, because I don't go to the gallery as much as I'm in the SoCal section

All of the replicas I've seen are 10 footers...meaning, they look good from 10 feet away.

It's in the details. I'd rather save some more money and buy a quality piece...but that's me.

The pics look pretty good. Thanks for sharing.

I love my mugen style hardtop, i really do, but if I were to do it again I'd save a bit more and get a real mugen hardtop.

I get what you're saying, just like good from far, but far from good. Honestly, that's not really the case with these. I've seen people who just paint without blocking and it's still nice. IMO everything fiberglass must be blocked. Even JDM pieces, because J's had a lot of flaws in terms of fitment and finish, and even Spoon has finish issues. Who you use for paint and bodywork is far more important, as long as the fiberglass piece you use is quality. Many companies will make brittle replica kits, and that's where it gets bad, as well as a cheap gel coat and so forth. VIS is one company that I've used for almost all my cars, and the only time they let me down was pre 1998, when they were only in business for 4 years or so. Now they have a ton of experience, and also own Wings West

Tekka01 is has owned the real top, and said that his new top from me fit better, and the finish was great It all matters who you go with, but yes, Mugen is a really quality product

Stick with OEM hardware. I have the "replica" hardware from a "sponsor" and it's complete shit. With the money I spent on getting the correct hardware, I should have gone for a Real Mugen top instead.
