Well.. in any case, it looks very nice.

Ill stop jacking here and start another thread trying to figure out how a butt weld flows better than a radiused bend
yeah, im not sure how that works. but i mean if you're paying 2100$ for 10ft of straight tubing it'd BETTER defy the laws of physics, right?

I dont think borla makes gains on the S, neither does the fowmaster, which is why you can get them for $300.
1) singles flow better than duals
2) chop the muffler off of one of those systems and compare it to whats on the amuse. air flows better through things you can see through.

theres your power difference

now compare it to the T1R single. mandrel bent single exit with a see-through muffler. ill guarantee you it makes more power than your color changing equivalent, at half the price.

Headers look extra nicee. My suggestion is to take the wheels off and paint over the rustspots showing thru were the centercaps should be.I had to do this since my wheels dont have centercaps.

Oh, and I use my Amuse R1, so...
You have a PIMP exhaust , made of Ti from a company that started off as an exhaust and re-flash shop focused totaly only on this 2 areas. I'm sure that if they could mandrel bend Ti, they would.
There is no comparison between a T1 Amuse exhaust and some marketing joke from Borla, period.

I had the t1R my self because it still is the best bang for the $ , but I also have to be realistic and can not compare the cost of a Ti exhaust designed from scratch with a SS replica.
T1R=AJ-Racing=very close to J's racing

Hey CUAT9k, I was just wondering how loud your exhaust was in the car? I've heard the exhaust in person, but never heard it in the car.

All I have to say is that sucker sounds sikk. You can hear 9k from like a mile away.

After the headers, it's surprisingly more quiet (im very sometimes). With the top down, the noise is nothing, but when the top is up, there is a slight drone between 3-4k rpms, but if you play with the gas pedal a bit and keep it in the right gear, you won't hear a thing (literally...).

i had the t1r, too.

my main point, though, was the power difference and the comparison of the flow characteristics between the different pipe "bending" methods. WRT pricing, the J's is over 600$ cheaper and still Ti.

on a side note, it is possible to bend titanium.
