Shift- I calculated this a while back and think that it's a fairly accurate figure:

Fronts- about 18 lbs without tires

Rears- about 20 lbs without tires

Hope this helps!

Take care.

that is not too heavy at all then...makes me think twice about changing to other forged wheel with like only 3 to 4 pounds saving.....thought stock was heavier......................

read his post carefully, it sounds like a guess. the easiest way to find out how much your stock rims weigh is to:

1.) call the tire company, ask them how much the particular tire on your car weighs.

2.) measure how much your rim + tire weight.

3.) total weight - tire = the answer your looking for.

thats the best way to do it. otherwise, you will get all kinds of different answers. this is what i did with my car and let me tell ya, nobody told me the right answer. few of them were pretty close tho...

Bridgestone RE050 weight per tire:
front 215/45R17 = 22 lbs
rear 245/40R17 = 27 lbs

Based on my bathroom scale of tire plus wheel:
Front 40.0 lbs
Rear 48.0 lbs

So given the above tire weights, that would imply an '04 wheel weight of:
Front 18 lbs
Rear 21 lbs

(Compare this to an '03 rear wheel/tire combo at 41.5 lbs...)
