Can't believe how lightweight that body/chassis is.

I'm sure that thing has insane responsiveness and handling with the F20C in it.

That car is the dream brother. Sunday morning, 6AM, Helmet on, and hooning that thing through the forests... What else could you want from life.

Thanks for introducing this to me, planning a build for my long term goals word file immediately

Here's a photo that shows the chassis structure without the orange fiberglass bodywork. You can see it uses a tubular spaceframe and the black aluminum panels have been riveted in place (I'm good with the rivet gun now!) completing the structure and adding stiffness. At this point in the build the suspension is all in place as is the rear diff, gas tank, and all the plumbing and wire loom has been put in place. The wiring isn't hooked up to much yet. Once all the mechanical stuff is in place it will get covered by the thin and light fiberglass bodywork.

So you can see why the car weighs so little - there's really not much to it. One thing that is hard to grasp is how small it is and how it compares to a regular car. For instance the driver's butt is exactly 4.75" from the floor............when you sit in this thing you look way up at drivers driving an Accord and WAY up at an F150. It takes some time to get comfortable with looking straight across at a truck's lug nuts spinning at the same height as your shoulder. My 'regular' car is a Mini Cooper S and it towers above this thing. To give a bit of perspective I put my road bike next to the Westfield - now i'm tall at 6'4" so my bike is tall but you'll get the point.

In any case - it's the least practical and most fun thing i've ever owned. My previous sports car was a 2005 Supercharged Lotus Elise and this car make it feel like a Crown Victoria.
