Ahh! The old Bradley GT II. Mine was a first generation Bradley GT.

Gotta love those VW Beetle based kit cars.

BTW -- The Delorian was not "silver" quite so much as it was UNPAINTED Stainless Steel.

If you ever see a painted Delorean, go up and smack the owner on the head....

alot....

with something heavy....

and pointed.

The car was offered FROM THE FACTORY with optional paint after the first or second model year. Not all of them are bare stainless.

I do believe this is incorrect.

A) They only produced them for three years in very limited quantities.

"Only 8,583 DeLoreans were manufactured in 1981, 1982, and 1983: 6,539, 1,126, and 918, respectively."

B) One of the primary design points of the car was that it needed no paint.

"Some DeLoreans have been painted various colors by owners and by dealers who acquired the cars after DMC went into receivership, but with the exception of two 24-karat-gold-plated DMC-12s, all of the cars left the Dunmurry factory with gleaming stainless steel exteriors."

Quotes from the DeLorean Owners Association website.
