So the paint code for the liquid paint is the same as the code used in powdercoat?

I hope you understand my question as they are two totally seperate things.

I'm sure those above wheels were not powdercoated. Powdercoating adds thickness and it is hard to mask off small holes. With those wheels being two piece, then having to mask all the holes and being able to get all the bolts back in would be very hard to do.

Ummm wow. I wish you knew what you wrote. I am not sure what process he used butI will let you in on some info.

Any place that powdercoats- and does a good job- usually coats the wheels disassembled. I know because I have the same brand of wheels and you should also remember that these are 3 PIECE WHEELS. So once the wheel is separated, the face is extremely easy to process.

Its too bad Sc suzuka actually painted the wheels. I want to powder coat them since they extremely durable compared to painting and are more resistent to curb rash. Oh well....

Powdercoating may be more "resistant" to curb rash than painting, but that's like saying a leather jacket is more bullet resistant than a t-shirt. The curbing will go right through powdercoating.

If you're coating the center of a 3 piece wheel, that shouldn't even matter anyway, all you need to be concerned with is rock chips. If you like the look, just paint them, and ask for a bottle of touch up paint. You should be fine.
