V8 Vantage coupe is $110,000, the drop top is about $16,000 beyond that. I think the hardtop is prettier.

my dream car by the way.

They said ~90,000 pounds so ~250,000 US dollars
Haha, that's a gross over estimation. 90,000 pounds is slightly under $180,000. Which is still odd though, if the car does cost that much in the UK are we getting a price cut? AFAIK, the V8 Vantage should run you some where in the low 100,000 dollar range.

I tend to agree - in all honesty the S2000 is the only convertible I've ever liked, so I bought one. Seems like almost all other convertibles are modified coupes. The V8 Vantage is no exception. Cutting the top off of a coupe and adding a folding soft top just ruins its lines - look at the 350Z!

I love this car. Absolutely one of the most gorgeous automobiles in the world today.

That said, it's not even close to being a "bigger" or "better" S2000. It is supposedly more softly sprung, it's not terribly fast for the segment, the transmission isn't that good, and it's more of a serious GT (or a not-so-serious sports car).

I love it and I'd gladly own one but it's not a hardcore sports car.

I was at the local release event when the vantage first came out. the sales redlined that thing 5 ft from me and.. man that thing is LOUD and sounded meaaaaan. Heard its handcrafted with the highest precision just like the nsx. Loved that thing from that day on.

now a drop top!? wow, that top looks like the top that made ferrari drop tops. sweet.. sweet..

Had a typical Southern CA moment today... look in my rear view, and what do I see? A baby blue Vantage drop-top with two beautiful women in it.

They did not fall for my Barry White singing impersonation

On, and just in case you don't believe me:
