Below is a PM from velocity on the same problem and this is what he said when I asked him about it. I checked my spoiler and it DOES have the holes he described.

I learned this after that fact but the spoiler is supposed have a small breather hole on the under side where the wing turns down (both sides). Fiberglass does not warp from the heat, it distorts when the hot inside is trapped and expands which causes the outer shell to pull away from the interior webbing creating a ripple or warping effect. If yours does not have the factory holes you'll need to drill them yourself. There's a posted photo of a yellow Heckspoiler (I can't remember the person or post at the moment) but you can see the breather holes clearly in the pic.

You guys that still have trouble should invite Mr Frank Sigel of TSS to participate in this thread. I know many vendors do this to address problems to the whole group. If they care about keeping a good name they will take you up on it.

the "breather" hole is the one on the top right (the one that's alone w/out a hole below it... however there's one to the left of it)

here's a more clear pic!

Grrr Alright...now unless these folks ship from Germany across the Pacific and my spoiler has been stuck in that westcoast strike, then I cannot excuse 1 month now for awaiting shipment of this spoiler

1 month?? That has to be the longest wait for the spoiler out of everyone who ordered it.

Anyone speak German here? Dave, try calling them anyway. I believe Mr. Siegel speaks broken english from reading his emails...but english nonetheless.

Hey Tommy,

Could you stick a straw or something in the breather holes to see how deep they are? And do you guys think with my warped spoiler, if I had a body shop drill these holes and fix the warping (new primer & paint) that it would resolve the problem? I'll take it to some shops to see what they think. Thanks...
