This is another similarly priced spoiler and you can order direct by email at chd@chdtuning.com

Maybe people should be giving this company a try instead of TSS?

I'm reviving this thread because of my interest in this spoiler (thanks Tommy ). Can those of you who already own it give me some feedback on fitment and quality? Also, how long did it take to arrive after you placed the order? Who did you contact, how was billing taken care of, etc.?

Thanks guys!

Guy's I love this spoiler but TSS Stinks. When I ordered one, it took 10 emails and 4 faxes until I finally got a response. After I received the spoiler the work was very poor. I paid $300 to get it primered and painted, and continual phone calls from the painters telling me how bad the spoiler is. Finally I got it back and it looked great. A week after installing it on my car, the spoiler became very warped and looks horrible. So maybe I just got a bad one, and they'll replace it, right? I'm on my 8th email and 2 months later and still no response from TSS, Meanwhile I have this kick *ss $35,000 S2000 with a crappy looking spoiler on the back of it. Now I'm weighing 3 options. 1) I like the look of the spolier so am still trying to get another one (which I'll have to pay another $300 to paint) 2) Try and get this one fixed (I've been to 2 bodyshops that don't want to touch the thing) or 3) Go buy an OEM spoiler and count my losses.

I know other have had good expereinces with this company, but until I get a response I still say they STINK!

I feel better now.

Tommy your thread made it to 6 pages!!

btw - In an email to Mr Sigel, I sent a link to this particular thread in hopes of him reading some of the comments, positive and negative. They should really wake up and learn some customer service, since they can't sell their "Heckspoiler" back home - no one likes it.

Andyp,

Good idea sending Mr. Seigal the link. Thats exactly what I did and I think it helped me get an immediate replacement when I let me know this kind of feeback was hurting his sales. My second spoiler arrived in 2 /1/2 weeks. It was a considerable improvement upon the one they first send however it still took 450 dollars to get it prepped and painted. There was extra prep time involved because the spoiler was wavy and looked especially bad when painted black. The body shop had to reprime and sand till it was uniform enough to paint. Also one of the 4 bolts that hold the spoiler down will not screw in all the way. They knew this when they send and chose to send anyway. I know they knew this because the bolts came screwed into the spoiler when it was delivered and someone had to notice the one that would not screw in all the way.

Velocity is getting no response on his replacement other than a promise to ship as soon as they get more in. It seems to me that they already have some in because here they are shipping w1ngman his order on 9/10/2002.

Its a huge gamble with this company folks and I would not do it again. The spoiler looks awesome on my car at the moment but it bothers me when I hear people say it warps after spending some time in the sun. I may still regret this but right now it looks beautiful.

Whatever happened to the Feels spoiler. It seem like that is impossible to get these days. The Feels was my first choice but I wanted 5 months on an order from MG Racing before canceling.

Brent

My body shop thinks the spoiler may be made out of abs plastic or the same material that alot of bumbers are made of. They think that would explain the wavy nature of the spoiler and the complaint I have heard about it melting in the hot sun.

I'll try and take some pics of the warping. It happened right after I put it on my car. So I assume the heat had something to do with it. The best way to describe it is that under the paint it seems as if ridges and bumps have appeared. Almost like looking at the surface of the moon. It's not horribly noticable, but from certain angles and from up close it looks pretty damn bad. Especially for being on an S2000. I think my best bet it to count my losses and buy an OEM.
