^^^ yup pretty much...

i think most thieves would get frustrated and end up f'ing up your whole car and you might be left with a car that may or may not be totaled

Not to mention the steering wheel is actually fairly week in a car. it's made to bend and deform in an accident when you're hands are on it. Get yourself a pair of bolt cutters. While a thief would need a new steering wheel, at least he has the car

^^So you are saying that people who are not as fortunate as others (poor asses as you referred to them) should not be aloud to own a nice car? Because if not, since they are poor, they will put these stupid anti theft devices on them...

I think your taking it a little too far.

But generally, yes, the cheaper they get, the more the younger/mod-prone type of people will get their hands on them, resulting in more dumb things put on the s2k.

Just go to any bmw/porsche or other high end car site, the majority of the people that "mod" their car, do OEM or very OEM type things, nothing too wild. Now of course you will have outliers and a few people will do things ridiculous, like that 'rice your exotic' thread.. but which are you more likely to see? a riced out porsche or a riced out civic? And im willing to bet price plays a huge factor in those results

Try not to take offense I dont think your interpretation was where he was headed.

I would like to add though, that I think he PROBABLY should have picked a better phrase than 'poor asses' That does make him sound like one of those snobby rich f0cks that none of us like
