Same thing happened with my car.... You got EXTREMELY lucky... You only have to replace your bumper.... Mine got caught between a guard rail, and the asphault. I'll post pictures later.

I had to have all this replaced:
Bumper,
Bumper bracket,
Hood,
Both lights,
both fenders,
upper crossmember,
radiator,
air conditioner condenser,
and some other things here and there...

You got lucky my friend.
